Private visibility advisory
Your achievements may already be significant. Your public profile should reflect them.
There is a point in every successful person's career when achievement alone is no longer enough. You can have built an exceptional business, developed deep expertise, created considerable wealth, led organisations, built an impressive network or established genuine influence within your industry and still find that your public profile doesn't reflect the reality of what you have accomplished.
That gap can become increasingly important as your ambitions grow. The opportunities you want next may depend on people knowing who you are before you enter the room, understanding what you stand for and recognising the value you bring. It’s at this point when your reputation starts to become an asset in its own right.
I work privately with a small number of accomplished individuals who want to become significantly more visible, influential and recognised in the markets, industries and communities that matter to their ambitions. My role is to look at the whole picture, understand what you want your reputation to achieve and build the strategy to get you there. This is not about becoming an influencer, posting every day, becoming “famous” or chasing attention for the sake of it. It is about being deliberate about what you are known for, who knows you, where you are seen and what that visibility can make possible.
The work starts with the bigger ambition
Before we talk about social media, books, media, speaking or content, I want to understand where you’re trying to go. Perhaps you are taking a business into new market, moving from entrepreneur to investor, preparing for a larger leadership role, building a philanthropic platform or becoming more active in public life. Perhaps you simply know that the next stage of your career requires a level of recognition that you have not previously needed. Those ambitions determine the strategy.
We look at your experience, your story, your message, your expertise, your existing reputation, the people you need to influence and the opportunities you want to create. From there, we establish the position you should occupy and the story that needs to surround it.
The question isn't simply “How do we make you more visible?” It is “What do you need to be known for, by whom and why?”
Your entire visibility landscape
Your public profile is rarely built through one channel. Media profiling and public speaking might be important. Your digital presence might need work. There may be relationships you should be developing or partnerships that could significantly extend your reach. My role as your visibility advisor is to determine which of those things actually matter for you. I bring together my award-winning experience across PR, communications, personal branding, media and visibility to look at the entire ecosystem rather than treating each activity as a separate project. I can help you understand what story journalists should hear, how your audience wants to hear it, what you should be speaking about, which platforms are worth your time, how your digital presence should support your positioning and where your reputation could create opportunities that aren't currently available to you.
Just as importantly, I can tell you what isn't worth doing because at this level, discernment matters just as much as visibility.
Your story matters
Some of the most accomplished people I meet are surprisingly difficult to find in public. Their achievements are impressive, but their story has never really been articulated. Their expertise is obvious to the people around them, but invisible to the wider world. That is often the first piece of work that we need to undertake.
We identify the experiences, ideas, achievements and perspectives that make your story distinctive and establish how they should be communicated. Not as a manufactured personal brand but as a clear articulation of who you are and the territory you have earned the right to occupy. The aim is to create a reputation that people can understand quickly and remember easily. Over time, you want your name to carry an association. When the conversation turns to your particular area of expertise, industry or perspective, you should be one of the people who comes to mind.
Your team can execute. I provide the strategic direction.
You may already have people around you; you may have a PR agency, communications director, social media team, chief of staff, executive assistant or other advisers. I don't see that as a barrier. In many cases, it makes the work more effective. I can work alongside the people you already trust, providing the strategic direction that connects their activity, rather than having one person thinking about press, another about social media and another about events, there is a clear view of what the overall reputation strategy is trying to achieve.
That means better decisions about where to invest, which opportunities to pursue, which relationships to develop and which requests to decline. You don't need more activity but you do need the right activity working together.
Built for an international perspective
I work with ambitious individuals and teams across the UK and internationally, including clients and opportunities connected to Africa (Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Zimbabwe and beyond), the Middle East (UAE and Qatar) and the United States. For internationally minded leaders, reputation does not stop at a border. The people who matter to your next chapter may be in London, Lagos, Dubai, New York or somewhere else entirely. The platforms, relationships and cultural context may change from market to market, while the underlying strategy remains the same: build a reputation that travels with you.
A deliberately private engagement
I keep this work deliberately limited. The quality of the strategic relationship matters more to me than the number of clients I take on because this is a high-trust engagement. I need to understand what you have built, what you want next and what you are prepared to do to get there. In return, you get direct access to me and a strategic perspective that sits above the individual tactics of personal branding, PR, content and visibility. This can be an intensive period of work to establish your positioning and strategy or the beginning of a longer advisory relationship as your profile develops.
The exact shape depends on what you are trying to achieve and what you are willing to invest.
You may have spent years building your business, career or reputation privately. There is nothing wrong with that but there comes a point when remaining relatively unknown outside your existing network starts to limit what is possible. If you are at that point, I would like to hear from you.
Tell me what you have built, where you are going and what you believe is missing from your public profile. I review private enquiries personally and, where there is a strong fit, we begin with a conversation about what greater visibility could make possible.
Trusted by leaders, founders, visionaries and Public Figures.
I work with a select group of senior leaders, founders, entrepreneurs, public figures, creatives and organisations whose visibility has become increasingly important to what they want to achieve next. Over the years, that work has taken me across the UK, Nigeria and the USA, as well as projects connected to the Middle East and Asia, across a range of industries, ambitions and levels of public profile.
The people who come to me are rarely looking for a formula. They already have expertise, experience and often considerable success behind them. What they need is perspective: someone who can step outside the day-to-day, understand the bigger ambition, see what is missing and make clear decisions about where their reputation and visibility should go next. I bring together personal positioning, media, storytelling, thought leadership and public profile strategy to create that direction, often working alongside the trusted advisers and teams already around them.
Many of these engagements are private by design. I don't publish a client list simply to demonstrate who I have access to, and where confidentiality is important, I respect it completely. My work has included people who are already widely recognised as well as highly accomplished individuals who have deliberately kept a low public profile. In both cases, the principle is the same: visibility should be intentional, and it should serve a larger ambition. I take on a limited number of private advisory clients because the quality of the relationship matters. This is close, strategic work that requires access, trust and a willingness to make decisions. Clients typically come to me at a point of transition whether that’s entering a new market, taking on a bigger role, building something new, preparing for greater public attention or deciding that they are ready to be known for more than what they have already achieved.
My role is to understand where you are, where you want to go and what needs to happen between the two. Sometimes that means creating a stronger public position. Sometimes it means finding the story that has been sitting underneath your achievements all along. Sometimes it means opening up new platforms, relationships or opportunities and sometimes it means being clear about what you should not do.
The objective is not simply greater visibility, it is to build a reputation that reflects the scale of what you have achieved and creates the conditions for what comes next.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who is Private Visibility Advisory for?
This is for accomplished individuals who have reached a point where their public profile needs to catch up with their professional achievements or future ambitions. That might be a founder preparing for international growth, an executive moving into a more prominent role, an investor developing a public profile, an entrepreneur building influence around a new venture, or an established expert who wants to become better known beyond their immediate industry.
Is this personal branding coaching?
Not in the traditional sense. Personal branding is part of the work, but the engagement is broader. I look at your positioning, reputation, story, media profile, speaking opportunities, relationships, digital presence and wider ambitions, then determine what actually matters. You may already have a PR agency, communications team or social media support; my role can sit above those functions and provide the strategic direction.
Do you work with the client's existing team?
Yes. In many cases, that is exactly how I prefer to work. If you already have a chief of staff, executive assistant, PR agency, communications director or social media team, I can work alongside them. The aim is to give everyone a clearer understanding of the reputation and visibility strategy they are working towards.
Do you work with clients outside the UK?
Yes. I work with clients and teams internationally, including across the United States, Africa and the Middle East. Much of this work can be conducted virtually, although I also travel for selected engagements upon request by the client.
How long does an engagement last?
There is no standard package because the work depends on the ambition, starting point and level of support required. Some clients need an intensive period to establish their positioning and visibility strategy; others want an ongoing strategic adviser as their profile develops. We determine the right structure after understanding what you are trying to achieve.
Can my representative make the enquiry?
Absolutely. I regularly understand that the first point of contact may be a chief of staff, executive assistant, communications adviser, PR professional or another member of the client's team. You are welcome to make an enquiry on their behalf and explain what you are looking to achieve.
