ID Peters: The British Nigerian Fashion Brand Bringing Luxury To The World

I was recently sent an accessories gift pack by luxury fashion brand ID Peters which was not only a wonderful surprise but a great opportunity for me to showcase a British Nigerian brand to my network.

The brand designs and produces luxury silk scarves, handbags, umbrellas and clutch bags. “It is a sophisticated fusion of Safari meets the contemporary wardrobe for the fun, fearless and independent woman who appreciates pure silks and quality accessories.” ID Peters, Founder of the brand.

I was impressed by the packaging when I received my gift which really reflected the luxury ethos of the brand. The purse and umbrella I received were exceptionally high quality and unique, the touch of ankara influence, the wax print material often worn across West Africa, was particularly delightful.

I absolutely love this piece that I was able to contribute to on the power of self-promotion. If you are an entrepreneur, particularly a woman entrepreneur and more specifically a black woman in business self-promotion can be a difficult area to manoeuvre. People too often confuse self-promotion with narcissism and whilst the lines can be blurred there is a way to publicise your achievements without becoming a narcissist.
